Winter: The best time to travel to Rajasthan is between October and March when you won’t face the extreme temperatures. The daily average temperatures will be around 27 Degrees Celsius (80.6 F), and the coldest month, January, will drop down to 23 Degrees Celsius 73.4 F). During this time, you can expect cooler nights and mornings, when the temperature can drop to 15 Degrees Celsius (59 F).
The dry and cool weather in Rajasthan enables you to enjoy desert camping and tiger and camel safaris. Rajasthan’s colorful festivals, such as the Kite Festival, Desert Festival, and Holi, all fall during the pleasant climate.
December to February is the most pleasant time in Rajasthan, with almost zero rainfall. You will have plenty of sunshine hours, enabling you to enjoy your daytime activities with temperatures ranging between 16-26 Degrees (60.8 F and 78.8F)
However, since this is the peak season, you can expect to find a large number of tourists around Christmas and New Year’s.
Summer: April to June is considered regional summer or Rajasthan’s hot season. Because of the desert, the temperature can hover around 38 Degrees (100 F) during the day and fall to 25 Degrees (77 F) at night. However, if you can stand the heat, you can have all of the main attractions to yourself, and paying the lowest rates for the most luxurious treatments would be a huge gain.
Monsoon: September-November is the transition time from monsoons to dry weather. Jaipur changes from warm to hot weather in March, which is still suitable for comfortable daytime activities. The temperatures can reach 30 Degrees Celsius (86 F). These months, however, find tourism at its lowest, and so are the prices.
