Before you dive deep into the adventurous elements that await you on Indian tiger trails, we have arranged for an introduction to the capital city, where you can visit ancient monuments and famous local markets.
Taj Mahal, one of the most appreciated monuments and a symbol of love, is a top tourist destination in Agra. This famous city is also a perfect place for shopping for handicrafts, traditional items and leather goods.
Kanha National Park is one of the best places to spot tigers, which is the very purpose of your tour. Located in Central India, Kanha, the tiger reserve, covers a vast area of 1945 sq.km and is home to a wide range of species.
With massive hills and vast grasslands, Bandhavgarh National Park is an animal lover’s dream destination. Bandhavgarh is not only famous for its Bengal tigers but is also home to the most number of tigers in India. Among the many animals here, you can also spot the elusive leopard, langur and wild boar in this tiger reserve.

Arrival at Delhi in the evening on Day 1. Pick up from the airport and transfer to the famous Taj Palace.
Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Take a cycle rickshaw ride through the famous Chandni Chowk bazaar, the local market. After lunch, explore New Delhi, visit Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate.
Drive to Agra (around 4.00 hours); be prepared for a mesmerizing view of the beautiful Taj Mahal. On the way, don’t miss the 16th century fort and other historic monuments.
Take a flight to Jabalpur (1½ hours). Drive to Kanha National Park after a hearty lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy the stunning natural landscape from your luxury camp in the thick of the jungle.
Start early in the morning from your luxury camp on a safari to explore the jungles of Kanha. You may spot the majestic Bengal tiger amidst the bamboo forests. Other animals you may encounter here include leopard, sloth bear and hyena. Kanha is also a bird lover’s paradise as exotic birds can be spotted here.
Rise early for yet another spectacular visit to the jungle that lasts till the sun goes down. Now, sip your sundowner as you immerse yourself in the beauty of dense jungle and rivers that flow by. Have your dinner at the camp and settle down for a good sleep amidst nature.
After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx 5 ½ hours), which is located in a breathtaking landscape with thick forests, hills and grasslands.
The biodiverse Bandhavgarh deserves a thorough appreciation, which is only possible if you spend quality time exploring the park. As you look for the big beasts, have an eye not to miss the exotic birds that fly around here. You are in for an interesting evening with the chef at your hotel as you sample the local flavours and also learn the secret recipes.
Bandhavgarh seems to be a never-ending story. Here is one more day of safari through the jungle from morning till late afternoon.
Now is the time to depart for Delhi. Have your breakfast, drive to Jabalpur (approx 4 hours) to catch a flight to Delhi (approximately 1½ hours). Indulge in the comforts of Taj Palace as the evening fades into night.
After breakfast, it’s time to say “Goodbye” to the tiger trail trip as you get on board the flight to your country.
