Exploring the sprawling 1945 sq.km of tiger reserve with dense forests and pristine streams in picturesque settings can be a mesmerising experience. Apart from tigers, Kanha is also popular for being home to Barasingha, which is referred to as the ‘Jewel of Kanha’.
If you have read Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book and were fascinated by the wilderness, you are sure to love Pench National Park, which inspired the author of Jungle Book. This tiger reserve gets its name from River Pench, which flows from north to south dividing the park into two halves.
