Maldives is a year-round destination that attracts tourists from across the Globe. To enjoy the open Ocean January to April is considered the ideal time. It also makes it easy to spot the marine creatures due to good visibility.
Maldives mainly has dry and wet seasons. May to October is the wet season whereas November to April is the dry season. Tourists prefer to flock here during the dry season when the sun is warm and weather pleasant. The wet season is still a preferred time to travel as it is less crowded and affordable, however due to heavy downpour the visibility of the water is affected and one can’t enjoy diving and snorkeling.
