Experience the Taj Mahal in its truest beauty at sunrise when the golden hue adds charm to the monument. As you go further to Gwalior, explore the Gwalior fort and Sahastrabahu temple for insights into ancient traditions. Explore the Orchha Fort, which beautifully stands by the Betwa River. Khajuraho is home to impressive temples that give insight into medieval culture. Visit Triveni Sangam, a holy place formed with three rivers coming together. Take a boat ride to take part in the morning rituals at the Varanasi Ghats.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Delhi

Arrival and private hotel transfer. In the evening city drive where you can view the Rashtrapati Bhavan and memorial built for the soldiers of India – India Gate.

Day 2 - Delhi

Delhi is popular for the Mughal monuments which are a popular tourist attraction. Visit Jama masjid, enormous articulately done mosque, Qutub Minar and Humayun’s tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Experience bliss at the Sikh Shrine – Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.


Bespoke Old Delhi Food Tour

In the evening go for Resplendent Travel’s Signature food walk through the street food lane of Old Delhi with a local expert sampling the different food items.

Optionally visit the National Museum & National Gallery of Modern Art.

Day 3 - Jaipur

Drive to the vibrant city of Rajasthan Jaipur ( 4.5HRS). Experience the beauty of Jaipur bustling markets as you go on a guided tour. Step into various shops to purchase the best of traditional handicrafts and jewellery. 

Day 4 - Jaipur

The pink city is home to rich palaces and forts. Visit City Palace to view the rich lives of Maharajas. VIsit Hawa Mahal, palace of wind. Get to know about the astronomical instruments at Jantar Mantar. Visit Albert Hall Museum to view local crafts.

Day 5 - Jaipur

Visit Jal Mahal,which stands amidst a lake. Visit Amber Fort for its brilliant architecture. Visit Galta Ji temple which is a brilliant work of architecture amidst scenic landscapes. Also called the Monkey temple, get ready to encounter an army of them on your visit. Historic fort Nahargarh atop of hill offers fascinating views.

Day 6 - Agra

Drive to Agra (4.5 HRS) Enroute a quick stop to Chand Baori, an architectural masterpiece for the symmetrical steps that take you to the well. Visit the historic Agra fort, a stunning structure made with marble and red sandstone. Enjoy a stroll in the local market.

Day 7 - Gwalior

Early morning visit Taj Mahal to capture spectacular views at sunrise. Enjoy a super fast train ride and reach Gwalior. Private pick up from the station and reach the hotel. Explore the historical Gwalior fort. The fort lets you visit palaces and mediaeval temples in its premises. Be bewildered as you visit Sahastrabahu temple for it is an architectural masterpiece.

Day 8 - Orchha

Drive to Orchha (2HRS) is a serene town which has stunning palaces, temples and forts to visit. At the banks of river Betwa stands the Orchha fort which houses several historical monuments to see. Be amazed by the Mughal architecture as you visit Janhangir’s palace. Ram Raja temple and Raja Mahal are other interesting places to visit.

Day 9 - Khajuraho

Head to Khajuraho (2.5 HRS) the town is popular for its ancient temples. Khajuraho is popular for different art forms.

Day 10 - Khajuraho

Visit the Khajuraho Group of Monuments. You get to know about different traditions as you visit the many temples here.

Day 11 - Allahabad (Prayagraj)

Drive to Allahabad ( 5.5HRS) Witness the confluence of three rivers Saraswati, Yamuna and Ganga at Triveni Sangam. A sacred place many take a dip of faith here to wash their sins away.

Day 12 - Varanasi

Drive to Varanasi (2.5 HRS). A popular attraction for pilgrims, the various ghats give you an insight to the Hindu culture and traditions. Evening visit the ghats or enjoy the sight of river Ganga.

Day 13 - Varanasi

You can enjoy the sunrise rituals at the ghat with a boat ride. The morning breeze and important rituals to watch is a satisfying experience. Take a flight to Delhi and fly back home.
