Winter: Winters are considered as the most favourable time to travel to the various beautiful destinations of India. The winter can get extreme in some parts, especially up north, where it witnesses snowfall. Hhowever, you can keep yourself warm between layered clothes. Winter also is the time for many festivals and celebrations in India, which makes it a perfect time to plan the vacation. The month of November is like a pre-winter time and is equally cool and pleasant.
Summer: The temperature in summers again varies in different regions and can be anywhere from 37 degrees to 46 degrees celsius. The scorching heat can make it difficult to travel and one must choose wisely. Hill stations can still be an option to visit during summers, however most parts are best to be avoided.
Monsoon: India experiences heavy monsoons from the end of May up to September in various parts of the country. June and July are said to be the wettest months in most states and cities. Some regions experience heavy to moderate rainfall whereas the dry lands, like Rajastahan, have little rainfall.
